BNL top team - Panthers (2-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Zebras (0-2) in Johannesburg 83-63. Worth to mention a quality performance of Misheck Makayi who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Mthokozisi Masondo (200-1998) who added 13 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Zimbabwean power forward Thomas Rutsito (202-1997) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 21 rebounds. Zebras' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Panthers maintains first position with 2-0 record, which they share with Tshwane S. and L.Pride. Zebras at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Egoli Magic and EC Windbreakers.
