Thomas Rutsito
Zimbabwean Power forward Thomas Rutsito (202-F/C-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for NC Zebras, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 23 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team EC Windbreakers (#6, 0-5) with 16-point margin 86-70. NC Zebras is placed at 4th position in South African BNL. NC Zebras is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Rutsito had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at NC Zebras, through which he has constantly improved. Thomas Rutsito has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 17.0rpg) and averages impressive 2.6bpg.
The second best player in last round's games was another NC Zebras' star - young Gabonese Kevin Romenoh (193-SF-1986). Romenoh had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds. It was enough for NC Zebras to edge slightly lower-ranked NW Eagles (#5, 1-4) 60-58. This victory allowed NC Zebras to move up to 4th position in Group A. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Romenoh is one of the most experienced players at NC Zebras and similarly like Thomas Rutsito has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Pieter Prinsloo (208-PF-1992) of league's top team Cape Town T.. Prinsloo showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Cape Town T., leading his team to a 107-36 easy win against the lower-ranked FS Warriors (#6, 1-4). Cape Town T. started extremely well this year. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game in Group B. Prinsloo turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Prinsloo has a very solid season. In 5 games in South Africa he scored 13.4ppg.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
