The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali: Kepler (#3) and Azomco (#5). Kepler (8-2) smashed visiting Azomco (4-5) by 17 points 71-54. Kepler had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kepler made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Mali Kadiatou Coulibaly (-1990) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 18 rebounds. DR Congolese center Aichata Traore (185-2005) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Ange Uwiringiyimana produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kepler have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Azomco at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Kepler are looking forward to face GSMRR (#6) in Cyabingo in the next round. Azomco will have a break next round.
