Bottom-rankedGahini (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 68-46 loss to seventh ranked GSMRR (2-7) in Gahini. They held Gahini to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 29.7 percent accuracy of the winners and had 27 for 47 from the free-throw line, while Gahini only scored ten points from the stripe. Aline Uwimana replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Jeanine Uwituze added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Gahini. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. GSMRR moved-up to sixth place. Gahini at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost.
