REG - The Hoops 83-50

REG held The Hoops to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.9 percent accuracy of the winners. REG forced 31 The Hoops turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by The Hoops' players. Paul Akon fired 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. The former international point guard Odile Tetero (162-1998) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five REG players scored in double figures. REG's coach Esperance Mukaneza felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. DR Congolese forward Feza Ebengo (185-1999, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds and guard Vivine Mugisha (162-2007) added 16 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side.

Worth to mention a great performance of Henriette Uwimpuhwe (-2000) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds.
