Kepler held APR to an opponent 23.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Kepler forced 19 APR turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Henriette Uwimpuhwe (-2000) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Nelly Nsanzabaganwa (-1995) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Kepler players scored in double figures. Mali guard Kamba Diakite (172-1999) answered with 20 points and international guard Destiney Philoxy (170-2000, college: UMass) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for APR. APR's coach Charles Mushumba rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
