What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali: REG (#1) and Kepler (#2). Kepler was smashed at home by 24 points 43-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of Kepler. REG forced 28 Kepler turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kepler's players. Paul Akon had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Rosine Micomyiza (162-1995) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Beninese center Veronica Keita (190-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks. Kepler's coach Rene Sahabu gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated REG (15-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Newly promoted Kepler keeps the second place with two games lost. They share the position with APR.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Kigali: The Hoops (#6) and EA Univ (#7). EA Univ was smashed at home by 38 points 38-76 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Mali Kadiatou Coulibaly (-1990) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Feza Ebengo supported her with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 11 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals by Yvonne Muhawenimana (-2006) did not help to save the game for EA Univ. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The Hoops have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 7-7 record. EA Univ lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Azomco.
GSMRR (#5) was upset in Cyabingo by eighth ranked Azomco 71-62. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of GSMRR. The best player for the winners was Nivin Lokuku who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Marie Yamfashije produced 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Azomco (6-9) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with EA Univ. GSMRR at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost.
