Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

APR (5-1) recorded its first loss in Kigali on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked REG (4-1) 68-59. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of APR. REG forced 22 APR turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Mali Kadidia Maiga (185-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Odile Tetero (162-1998) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international center Assouma Uwizeye (182-1996) who recorded 9 points and 15 rebounds. APR's coach Charles Mushumba rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 4-1 record. APR at the other side keeps the third place with one game lost.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kigali. Top-ranked Kepler faced second-best RP-IPRC Huye. Host Kepler (9-0) smashed guests from Butare (6-1) 98-47. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of RP-IPRC Huye. It was a good game for Beninese center Veronica Keita (190-2001) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 30 rebounds. Nelly Nsanzabaganwa contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 14 assists and 6 steals for the winners. The former international Cecile Nzaramba (-1993) replied with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for RP-IPRC Huye. Undefeated Kepler have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Newly promoted Kepler maintains first position with 9-0 record. RP-IPRC Huye at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost.
Bottom-ranked UR BBC (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 70-44 loss to sixth ranked Gahini (2-3) in Kigali on Saturday evening. Josephine Uwineza had a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds, 17 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Hirwa Sandrine with 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gahini maintains sixth position with 2-3 record, which they share with The Hoops. Loser UR BBC still closes the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with UR Kigali.

Rest of the games of round 6 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
GSMRR was defeated by Azomco in Kigali 57-39. The Hoops smashed UR Kigali at home 83-23. Winless UR Kigali was destroyed by EA Univ on the opponent's court 65-23.

UR BBC - Gahini 44-70

Bottom-ranked UR BBC (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 70-44 loss to sixth ranked Gahini (2-3) in Kigali on Saturday evening. They held UR BBC to an opponent 21.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 29.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Gahini forced 21 UR BBC turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by UR BBC's players. Center Josephine Uwineza had a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds, 17 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Aline Uwimana chipped in 12 points and 22 rebounds during the contest. Everything could happen in Kigali at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Azomco and 9th ranked GSMRR had identical 1-4 record. This time Azomco used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Cyabingo 57-39 on Saturday night. Azomco held GSMRR to an opponent 20.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 26.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Azomco forced 41 GSMRR turnovers. South Sudanese Nivin Lokuku (-2003) scored 9 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Kelia Karinganire chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
