Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when REG made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Kristina Uking who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 20 rebounds. International guard Destiney Philoxy (170-2000, college: UMass) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four REG players scored in double figures. The former international center Charlotte Umugwaneza (195-1984) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and Mali guard Kamba Diakite (172-1999) added 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the effort for APR.

Gbenakpon Keita stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 21 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and point guard Nelly Nsanzabaganwa (-1995) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists. Four Kepler players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Marie Yamfashije (-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and forward Brigitte Nibishaka (175-2006) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds.
