The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of APR (16-1) in Kigali on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by REG (17-1) 73-58. It was a key game for the top position in the league. REG forced 19 APR turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international guard Destiney Philoxy (170-2000, college: UMass) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists. The former international point guard Rosine Micomyiza (-1995) helped adding 30 points and 4 steals. REG's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Jane Dusabe (-2005) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Rebecca Cyuzuzo accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds. Gisele Makenga came up with 15 points and 6 assists for EA Univ in the defeat. EA Univ's coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. The Hoops maintains seventh place with 5-11 record. EA Univ lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost.

Marie Imanizabayo fired 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. APR's coach felt very confident using 11 players saving starting five for next games. Jane Dusabe produced 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Defending champion maintains second place with 16-1 record behind leader REG. The Hoops at the other side keep the seventh position with 11 games lost.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 19: EA Univ was destroyed by RP-IPRC Huye on the opponent's court 79-44. GSMRR outscored UR Kigali in a home game 66-34. Kepler rolled over GSMRR on the road 87-61. Gahini was defeated by RP-IPRC Huye on its own court 58-64.

Kepler dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to GSMRR's 24. They outrebounded GSMRR 68-46 including a 41-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kepler looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by GSMRR's players. Gbenakpon Keita fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds for the winners.
