Temi Fagbenle (ex Henan) joins Tempo

Temi Fagbenle

Toronto Tempo agreed terms with 33-year old British-Nigerian international center Temi Fagbenle (6'4''-1992, college: USC). She just played at Henan in Chinese WCBA. In 7 games she had very impressive stats: 18.0ppg, 9.1rpg, 2.4apg, 1.9spg and 2.4bpg last season. Last summer, she played at Golden State Valkyries.
In 2016, she was drafted by the Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in the third round (35th overall).
She graduated from the University of Southern California and it will be her tenth season in pro basketball.
Fagbenle has also been a member of the British international program for some years. She has regularly played for the British senior team since 2012 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2011.
Fagbenle is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Italy (Venezia), Poland (Polkowice), Spain (Avenida), Turkey (Besiktas, Botas, Galatasaray, and Mersin), the United Kingdom (Lions), for another WNBA team (Indiana Fever), and in Czech Republic (USK Praha).
Fagbenle's team reached the Turkish League Semifinals in 2025. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League All-Imports Team in 2025. She played for Harvard University for 4 years.
