Tonye Jekiri left PBC CSKA Moscow

Tonye Jekiri

The 31-year-old Nigerian ex-international center Tonye Jekiri (212cm-111kg-1994, college: Miami, FL) has left PBC CSKA Moscow (VTB United League) after playing there for the last three years. He helped them win the Supercup during his time with the team.
Jekiri has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. He was a member of Nigerian Senior National Team between 2019 and 2020.
Jekiri is a quite experienced player. He has played professionally in Belgium (Oostende), France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Spain (Baskonia) and Turkey (Fenerbahce, Gaziantep and TEKSUT Bandirma BK).
Jekiri was voted to the French ProA All-Star Game in 2020.
He graduated from the University of Miami in 2016 and it's his 10th season as a pro player.
