He also represented Nigeria at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 9.6 ppg and had 2.2 rpg. Iroegbu is a very experienced player. His career has taken him to five different continents, playing in eight different countries. He has played professionally in Mexico (Tijuana Zonkeys), Qatar (Al Shamal), Spain (La Roda), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Stockton Kings), Nigeria (Rivers Royal Hoopers), Kenya (Thunder) and Guinea (Seydou Legacy Athletique Club Conakry). In addition to winning the Kenyan League championship title in 2025, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Import Player of the Year in 2024. Iroegbu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. He graduated from Stony Brook University in 2018 and it is his eighth season as a professional player. Iroegbu played also for College of Southern Idaho for 2 years.
