Temi Fagbenle joins Henan

Temi Fagbenle

Henan Phoenix (WCBA) added to their roster 33-year old British-Nigerian international center Temi Fagbenle (193cm-1992, college: USC). She played last season at Golden State Valkyries (WNBA). In 40 games just recently she had 7.5ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.6apg.
Part of last season she spent at Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring Istanbul in Turkish league. She also played for another Turkish team Besiktas JK Istanbul in Turkey. Fagbenle also played 21 games in Turkish KBSL where she recorded very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 8.1rpg and 2.4apg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Great season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL All-Imports Team and Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL Third Team.
In 2016 she was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in third round (35th overall).
The former University of Southern California standout is in her tenth season in pro basketball.
Fagbenle has been also a member of the British international program for some years. She has regularly played for the British senior team since 2012 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2011.
Fagbenle is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Italy (Venezia), Poland (Polkowice), Spain (Avenida), Turkey (Botas and Mersin), United Kingdom (Lions), WNBA (Indiana Fever) and Czech Republic (USK Praha). Fagbenle was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Women's EuroBasket Honorable Mention in 2025.
She won Czech Republic D1 championship title in 2023. Fagbenle played also for Harvard University for 4 years.
