Varese signs Ike Iroegbu

Ike Iroegbu

Itelyum Varese (Serie A) signed 30-year old Nigerian ex-international point guard Ike Iroegbu (188cm-86kg-1995, college: WSU). He moved there from Valencia Basket in Spanish Liga Endesa where he played this season. In only one game he recorded just 2 points, 2 assists and 1 steal. He also played 2 games in Euroleague where he had 5.5ppg. The last season he played at another Spanish team Basquet Girona (Liga Endesa).
Iroegbu is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in France (Chalon/Saor and SPO Rouen), Germany (Science City Jena and Rasta Vechta), Israel (Galil Elion), Lithuania (Lietkabelis), NBA (Sacramento Kings), Italy (Treviso) and NBA G League (San Diego Clippers and Capital City Go-Go).
He won the Balkan League championship title in 2022. Iroegbu was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from Washington State University in 2017 and it's his ninth season as a pro player.
