Achiuwa joins Miami Heat

Miami Heat agreed terms with 26-year old Nigerian ex-international small forward Precious Achiuwa (6'9''-224lbs-1999, college: Memphis) for new 2025-26 season. It is actually his comeback to the Heat as he has played here before. He has played for the last two seasons at NY Knicks. In 65 NBA games he had 6.0ppg and 5.0rpg last season. Achiuwa helped them to make it to the conference final.
For three previous seasons (2021-24) he played at another NBA team the Raptors. He also played for another NBA team the Raptors earlier that season where in 25 NBA games he recorded 7.7ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.8apg in 2023-24 year. Achiuwa contributed to his team making it to the conference semifinals.
In 2020 he was drafted by the Heat in first round (20th overall). The former University of Memphis star is in his sixth season in pro basketball.
