Josh Nzeakor signs at H.Safed Galil

Hapoel Safed Galil (National League) landed 28-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) 203cm center Josh Nzeakor (college: Lamar) for new season. Nzeakor played this summer at Run DFW (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In only one TBT game just recently he had 6 points, 1 rebound and 2 steals. The last season he played at Sigal Prishtina in Kosovan Superliga where in 31 games he averaged 12.6ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.5apg. Nzeakor helped them to make it to the Supercup final and to the league semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. He also played 3 games in Liga Unike where he recorded 4.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.3apg.
Nzeakor is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. Nzeakor has played previously professionally in Argentina (Atenas and Estudiantes Concordia), France (Quimper UJAP), Germany, Mexico (Correcaminos and Ostioneros de Guaymas), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, Texas Legends, Westchester Knicks, Memphis Hustle and Birmingham Squadron), Mali (Police), Guinea (Seydou Legacy Athletique Club Conakry) and The Basketball Tournament (Ex Pats and Purple Hearts). He played in the final of Liga Unike in 2025.
He graduated from Lamar University in 2019 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
