Egis Kormend (A Division) added to their roster 27-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) forward Chuba Ohams (206cm-95kg-1997, college: Fordham, agency: Octagon Europe) for season 2025-26. He played last season at BG Goettingen in German ProA. In 14 BBL games he recorded 8.5ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.4apg and 1.4spg. He also spent pre-season at BAXI Manresa (Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. Ohams also played 2 games in Spanish Liga Endesa, but he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound.
He is a quite experienced player. Ohams has played professionally in Finland (Seagulls), France (Denain Voltaire), and Spain. He played in the final of the Spanish Catalonian League in 2025.
Among many awards, he was voted to the Eurobasket.com Finnish Korisliiga All-Imports Team in 2024.
Ohams graduated from Fordham University in 2022, and it will be his fourth season as a pro player.
