Omotayo Ogundiran

Defending champion Bakken Bears Aarhus (BasketLigaen) signed 28-year-old Nigerian-American ex-international 180cm point guard Omotayo Ogundiran (college: CPP, agency: Alti Sport) for the upcoming season. He was the top scorer at BK Armex Decin in the NBL league in the Czech Republic last season, averaging an impressive 17.4ppg, 4.3rpg, 3.8apg, and 1.7spg in 46 games. Ogundiran was a member of the Nigerian Senior National Team between 2020 and 2022.
Ogundiran is a very experienced player. He has traveled quite extensively during his pro career, playing in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa, and North America). Ogundiran has played professionally in France (Marseille), Tunisia (US Monastir), Albania (Kamza), and North Macedonia (Akademija FMP Skopje). His team made it to the League Semifinals in 2025. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Czech Republic League All-Defensive Team in 2025.
Ogundiran graduated from Cal State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season in pro basketball.
