Rob Ukawuba (ex Les Sables) joins Benicarlo

Rob Ukawuba

Maderas Sorli Benicarlo (Segunda FEB) agreed terms with 30-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) guard Rob Ukawuba (191cm-94kg-1994, college: NJIT). He played most recently at Les Sables in French NM1 league. In 27 games he had 9.8ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.3apg and 1.0spg in 2023-24 year. He helped them to win the regular season. Ukawuba also played for Zamora Enamora (LEB Silver).
In 2017 he was drafted by Windsor Express (NBL Canada) in second round (16th overall).
The former New Jersey Institute of Technology star is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Ukawuba's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in four different countries. Ukawuba tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played professionally in France, Mexico (Panteras), Spain (Clavijo, Tormes and Gijon Circulo) and The Basketball Tournament (Reach 1 Teach 1).
