Kanwei comes back to Newcastle Eagles

Emmanuel Kanwei

Newcastle Eagles (SLB) added 22-year old Nigerian center Emmanuel Kanwei (207cm-113kg-2003) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. It is his comeback to Newcastle Eagles as he has played here before. Kanwei played last season at Perth Redbacks in Australian NBL One, where he recorded 15.0ppg, 7.6rpg, and 1.9apg in 19 games. Prior to that, he played at Rebels (NBL D1).
He has played previously for three other British teams: BA Lions, Knights, and Barking Abbey.
