Lleida signs Caleb Agada

Caleb Agada

Hiopos Forca Lleida (Liga Endesa) signed 30-year old Canadian-Nigerian point guard Caleb Agada (196cm-1994, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season at Al Ahly Tripoli in the Libyan D1 league. In 10 Basketball Africa League games recently, he had 9.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.1apg, and 2.4spg. He helped them win the Basketball Africa League championship. In the 2024-25 season, he was named to Afrobasket.com Basketball Africa League All-Defensive Team. Last season, he played at Avtodor Saratov (VTB United League) in the Russian league.
Agada is a very experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia, and North America). Agada has played professionally in Australia, Canada (Honey Badgers and Blackjacks), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Russia, Ukraine (Prometey), Spain (Melilla and Prat), and NBA Summer League (Denver Nuggets).
Among many awards, he was also voted USBasket.com All-CEBL Canadian Player of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2017 and it'll be his ninth season as a pro player. Agada also played for Burlington Elite for one year.
