FOS Provence Basket (ProB) added 28-year-old Nigerian 203cm power forward Martins Igbanu (college: Tulsa) to their roster. He was the top scorer at Tokyo Hachioji Trains in the Japanese B3 League last season, with impressive stats of 17.9ppg, 7.3rpg, and 1.7apg in 18 games. Igbanu also played for Niigata Albirex in the B2 League in Japan.
Igbanu is a very experienced player. Thanks to Igbanu's pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and of course North America) in four different countries. He has played professionally in Japan, Serbia (KK Mladost MaxBet Zemun), Switzerland (Red Team), and France (Calvados, Denain Voltaire, and SPO Rouen).
In 2022, Igbanu's team reached the French NM1 Play-Offs Semifinals. In 2023, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swiss SBL Honorable Mention.
He graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2020, and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
