Valladolid sign Samuel Taiwo

UEMC Real Valladolid Baloncesto (Primera FEB) has signed 25-year-old Nigerian-Hungarian 205cm center Samuel Taiwo for the upcoming season. He is the second import player on the team, with USA's Isaac Haney already on the roster. Taiwo is no stranger to the Spanish League, having most recently played for Sant Antoni in the Segunda FEB, where he averaged 5.1ppg and 4.3rpg in 30 games last season. He helped Sant Antoni finish as the second-best team in the league and reach the league semifinals. In the 2023-24 season, Taiwo played for CB Prat Juventud in LEB Silver and previously for Pajarraco CB Santfeliuenc in LEB Silver.
Taiwo has played previously in Hungary (Szolnok, Atomeromu, Bonyhad, and Szolnoki Olaj U23 KK) and Hungary.
He played in the final of the Hungarian League in 2021.
