Semi Ojeleye (ex Valencia) is a newcomer at Crvena zvezda

Semi Ojeleye

KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Beograd (KLS) has strengthened their roster by adding 30-year-old American (who also has a Nigerian passport) Semi Ojeleye, a 201cm small forward from SMU, for the 2025-26 season. Ojeleye played for Valencia Basket in the Spanish Liga Endesa for the past two years, averaging 10.5ppg and 2.9rpg in 39 games last season. He helped his team reach the Spanish League final after finishing the regular season as the second-best team. Ojeleye was named League Player of the Week and selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish League Third Team. In addition, he played 22 games in the Eurocup, averaging 11.4ppg and 3.5rpg, helping his team reach the semifinals. Ojeleye's outstanding performance earned him a spot on the Eurobasket.com All-Eurocup Second Team.
In 2017, he was drafted by the Boston Celtics (NBA) in the second round (37th overall). Ojeleye graduated from Southern Methodist University, and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.
He has also played professionally in Italy (Virtus Bologna) and the NBA (Milwaukee Bucks and LA Clippers).
Ojeleye played for Duke University for 2 years before joining the team that won the Italian Supercup in 2023. In 2024, he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Euroleague Honorable Mention.
