Ebuka Izundu

KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Beograd (KLS) inked 29-year old Nigerian 208cm center Ebuka Izundu (college: Miami, FL) for upcoming season. Izundu joins another Nigerian player Chima Moneke who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at Galatasaray in Turkish BSL league. In 30 games he averaged 10.7ppg and 6.5rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the Turkish Cup Semifinals. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week. He also played 17 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 9.5ppg and 7.0rpg. Izundu contributed to his team making it to the Basketball Champions League final. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com Basketball Champions League Center of the Year, selected to All-Defensive Team and voted to Eurobasket.com Basketball Champions League Third Team.
The previous (2023-24) season he played at EWE Baskets in German BBL. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 34 German BBL games he recorded 9.0ppg and 5.6rpg in that year. He also played 6 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 8.2ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.0spg in that year.
Izundu has played also professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg), Spain (Real Betis) and Serbia (KK FMP SoccerBet Beograd).
He graduated from University of Miami in 2019 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
