Bapco (Premier League) added 32-year-old Nigerian forward Ijeoma Uchendu (185cm-65kg-1992, college: Butler) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. She played last season at Al Fatat in the Kuwaiti D1 league. During the 2023-24 season, she played at Al-Ahli.
She represented Nigeria at the African Championship U18 for Women in Cairo (Egypt) 15 years ago.
Uchendu is a very experienced player. Thanks to her pro career, she has played on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America). She has previously played professionally in Mexico (Mieleras, Aztks, and Correcaminos), Spain (Zamora, Plasencia, and Barakaldo), and the WBDA (Atlanta M.).
Uchendu graduated from Butler University in 2015 and it will be her eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. She played for other colleges like Central Arizona College and Grayson County College.
