Czarni adds Okoro to their roster

Francis Okoro

Energa Icon Sea Czarni Slupsk (OBL) added 25-year-old American power forward Francis Okoro to their roster for the 2025-26 season. Okoro, who also holds a Nigerian passport, played last season at Karditsas in the Greek GBL league, where he averaged 7.4ppg, 7.6rpg, and 1.3bpg in 15 games. He previously played for Kolossos H Hotels Rodou in the GBL, averaging 4.0ppg and 5.3rpg in 10 games. Okoro is the second foreign player on the team, joining Latvian Aigars Skele.
Okoro has also played professionally in France (SPO Rouen) and Lithuania (Nevezis).
His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season in the Atlantic 10 in 2023.
He graduated from Saint Louis University in 2023 and it'll be his third season as a pro player. Okoro played for University of Oregon for 2 years.
