Scrivia inks Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah

Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah

Autosped G BCC Derthona Basket Scrivia (Serie A1) has agreed terms with 27-year-old Nigerian international power forward Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah (188cm-1997, college: Northwestern) for the new 2025-26 season. She played for Magnolia La Molisana Campobasso in the Serie A1 for the last two years. In 25 games last season, she averaged 13.0ppg, 11.1rpg (#2 in the league), 1.2apg, and 2.1spg (in the top 5). She helped them reach the semifinals. In the 2024-25 season, she was named Eurobasket.com All-Italian League Import Player of the Year, Eurobasket.com All-Italian League Defensive Player of the Year, and Eurobasket.com All-Italian League Player of the Year. Kunaiyi-Akpanah also played 6 games in Eurocup, averaging 12.0ppg, 10.3rpg, 1.0apg, 1.7spg, and 1.0bpg.
She represented Nigeria at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) last year. During this event, she scored an average of 5.8 ppg and had 7 rpg.
Kunaiyi-Akpanah has also played professionally in Belgium (Namur), Italy (Faenza and Vigarano), and Belgium.
She won the Belgian League championship title in 2021.
Kunaiyi-Akpanah graduated from Northwestern University in 2019 and it'll be her seventh season as a pro player.
