Emlak keeps Macaulay for another season

Emlak Konut Istanbul (KBSL) re-signed experienced 34-year old Nigerian-American ex-international 193cm power forward Victoria Macaulay (college: Temple). She was a team leader there last season. In 25 KBSL games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.0ppg, 7.2rpg, 2.0apg, 1.6spg and 1.2bpg. She helped them to make it to the cup final.
The previous (2023-24) season she played at UMMC Yekaterinburg in Russian league.
Macaulay also represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) four years ago. During this event she scored an average of 12.3 points per game and had 2.3 rebounds per game.
She is a very experienced player. Thanks to her pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in ten different countries. Macaulay has played previously professionally in France (Nice), Greece (Olympiacos), Israel (Hertzliya), Italy (Parma and NPL Dike), Lebanon (Club Beirut), Poland (Torun), Russia, WNBA (Indiana Fever, Chicago Sky and LV Aces), Turkey (Botas and Kocaeli) and South Korea (S-Birds).
Among many awards she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL Honorable Mention back in 2022.
She graduated from Temple University in 2013 and it will be her 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
