Anosike finishes medical replacement contract with Oostende.

E.J. Anosike

Defending champion Filou Oostende (Pro Basketball League) released 26-year old Nigerian-American ex-international 199cm swingman E.J. Anosike (college: CS Fullerton) after his 3 month interim contract to replace injured players. In four Basketball Champions League games he averaged 10.8ppg, 8.8rpg and 1.3apg this season. He played 8 games in BNXT League where he had very impressive stats: 17.8ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.4apg and 1.4spg. He also played for Beermen (PBA) in Filipino league. Anosike was a member of Nigerian Senior National Team two years ago.
He is a very experienced player. Anosike has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Canada (Sea Bears), China (Anosikefei), France (Chorale de Roanne), Korea (Sonicboom), Philippines and NBA G League (SLC Stars and Texas Legends).
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in PBA Governor's Cup Group B in 2024. He was also Eurobasket.com European North Basketball League All-Tournament Team and Eurobasket.com All-Belgian Pro Basketball League Forward of the Year award in 2024.
Anosike graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2022 and it is his third season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: University of Tennessee, Sacred Anosikeart University.
