Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas (SPB) agreed terms with 30-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198cm-95kg-1994, college: UCF) for new 2025 season. Efianayi played last summer at Obregon in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 42 games he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.8apg. Great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
He is quite experienced player. Efianayi's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Efianayi tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Obera), Bulgaria (Balkan), Chile (Puente Alto), Ukraine (Odessa), Uruguay (Urunday), Venezuela (Guaiqueries and Supersonicos), North Macedonia (Gostivar) and Mexico (Plateros).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the North Macedonian League Semifinals in 2019. Efianayi was voted to Eurobasket.com North Macedonian League All-Imports Team back in 2019.
He graduated from University of Central Florida in 2017 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player. Efianayi played also for Daytona State College for 2 years.
