Al Ahli (D1) inked 27-year old American 180cm guard Tynice Martin (college: WVU). Martin played last summer at Customs in Nigerian D1 league. She managed to play in four leagues in four countries last year (!!!). Martin helped them to make it to the Nigerian League final. She also played for Santas in Mexican LNBPF where in 6 games she recorded 9.2ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.2apg and 1.8spg.
In 2020 she was drafted by Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA) in third round (25th overall).
The former West Virginia University standout is in her fifth season in pro basketball.
Martin is a very experienced player. She has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Martin has played previously professionally in Finland (Vimpelin Veto), Greece (Eunikos), Iceland (Njardvik), Kosovo (Prishtina), Sweden (Hogsbo) and Ukraine (Kyiv Basket).
