Texas Legends cut 25-year old double-passport holder Nigerian 6-10 center Babatunde Akingbola (college: GWU). But in 12 NBA-G-League games he averaged just 1.3ppg and 1.8rpg this season.
He just graduated from George Washington University (3.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 0.3apg, 0.6spg) and it is his first season in pro basketball. He was also voted to Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team in 2024 at his college time. Akingbola played also for Auburn University for 4 years.
