E.J. Anosike signs with Oostende

E.J. Anosike

Defending champion Filou Oostende (Pro Basketball League) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) 199cm swingman E.J. Anosike (college: CS Fullerton). He already started the season at SM Beermen in Filipino PBA league. In two games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.5spg. The last season summer he played at Hefei Kuangfeng (NBL) in Chinese league where in 26 games he averaged remarkable 29.9ppg. He has been regularly called to the Nigerian Senior National Team since 2023.
Anosike is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in seven different countries. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Sea Bears), China, France (Chorale de Roanne), Korea (Sonicboom), NBA G League (SLC Stars and Texas Legends) and Belgium (Liege Basket). His team was regular season runner-up in PBA Governor's Cup Group B in 2024.
Anosike received Lou Henson National Player of the Year Award Finalist award in 2022.
He graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2022 and it is his third season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: University of Tennessee, Sacred Anosikeart University.
