Zhejiang adds Kalu to their roster

Ezinne Kalu

Zhejiang Golden Bulls (WCBA) added to their roster 32-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) guard Ezinne Kalu (173cm-1992, college: SSU) for new 2024-25 season. She played last season at Atlanta Dream (WNBA). In two games just recently she recorded 3.5ppg, 1.0apg and 1.0spg. The last season she played at Oxygen Roma Basket (Serie A1) in Italian league.
She has been also a member of the Nigerian international program for some years. Kalu has regularly played for the Nigerian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2011.
She also represented Nigeria at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. Kalu was best scorer at the event with 18.5 points per game, while added 3 rebounds per game.
She is quite experienced player. Kalu has played also professionally in France (Landerneau), Germany (Keltern), Hungary (Vasas Akademia), Italy, Portugal (Olivais and Clube Desportivo Torres Novas), Russia (Dynamo Kursk) and Turkey (Kayseri).
Among many awards she played in the final of Russian PBL in 2023. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Russian PBL Honorable Mention in 2023.
Kalu graduated from Savannah State University in 2015 and it will be her tenth season as a professional player.
