Ezinne Kalu (ex Roma) signs at Dream

Ezinne Kalu

Atlanta Dream landed 32-year old Nigerian-American international 5-8 guard Ezinne Kalu (college: SSU). She played most recently at Roma in Italian Serie A2. In 24 Serie A1 games she averaged 13.9ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.5apg and 2.3spg (leader !!!) last season. A very good year in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com Italian Serie A1 All-Imports Team and Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A1 First Team.
She has been also a member of the Nigerian international program for some years. Kalu has regularly played for the Nigerian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2011.
She also represented Nigeria at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. Kalu was best scorer at the event with 18.5 points per game, while added 3 rebounds per game.
She is a very experienced player. Kalu has played also professionally in France (Landerneau), Germany (Keltern), Hungary (Vasas Akademia), Portugal (Olivais and Clube Desportivo Torres Novas), Russia (Dynamo Kursk) and Turkey (Kayseri).
Among many awards she played in the final of Russian PBL in 2023. She was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Russian PBL Honorable Mention in 2023.
Kalu graduated from Savannah State University in 2015 and it will be her tenth season in pro basketball.
