Ifunanya Okoro (ex Tindastoll) is a newcomer at Iraklis

Iraklis BC Thessaloniki (A1) added to their roster 25-year old Nigerian international guard Ifunanya Okoro (183cm-1999) for season 2024-25. She was the top scorer at Tindastoll in Icelandic Division I last season where in 19 games she was league's fifth best scorer with impressive 19.5ppg and had 7.9rpg, 3.4apg and 3.5spg (in top 5). She helped them to make it to the Icelandic D1 Playoff final. Quite impressive season as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic Division I First Team.
The previous (2023) summer she played at Kenya Ports Authority in Kenyan league.
Okoro has been also a member of the Nigerian international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Nigerian senior team since 2023 and previously for the Under 17 National Team back in 2016.
Okoro also represented Nigeria at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) this year. During this event she scored an average of points per game and had rebounds per game.
She has played previously in Nigeria (First Bank, First Deepwater and MFM Queens).
Among many awards her team won Nigerian League Group A Regular Season in 2018. Okoro was selected to Afrobasket.com All-African Champions Cup Honorable Mention back in 2019.
