Nigeria U18 cruised past Zimbabwe U18 to record the first win in Group C. Nigeria registered a 56-12 halftime lead. They held Zimbabwe to just 18 points in the second half and rallied to the win. Idubamo Beggi (2006) scored 20 points and made 10 steals, while Momoluwa Tewogbade (2007) provided 19 points for the winning side. Tinaishe Chikwata (173-SG-2007) answered with 13 points for Zimbabwe.
