Zamora adds Hearst to their roster

Zaid Hearst

Primera FEB newcomer Zamora Enamora added to their roster 32-year-old Nigerian-American ex-international guard Zaid Hearst (194cm-98kg-1992, college: Quinnipiac) for season 2024-25. He played last season at Melilla Ciudad del Deporte. In 9 Primera FEB games in Spain, he recorded 6.4ppg, 1.2rpg, and 1.2apg. He also played for Seydou Legacy Athletique Club Conakry (D1) in the Guinean league. Hearst was a member of the Nigerian Senior National Team in 2020.
He is a quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Hearst tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in France (Olympique Antibes and Chalons Reims), Hungary (Alba), Italy (Rieti), Lithuania (Nevezis), Ukraine (Mykolaiv), Venezuela (Hearstroes), Spain (Alicante, Oviedo, Coruna and Araberri) and The Basketball Tournament (Once A Bronco).
He has won many awards during his career, including playing in the final of the Hungarian U20 League in 2021. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention in 2020.
Hearst graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2015 and it will be his tenth season as a pro player.
