Chuba Ohams (ex Seagulls) joins Manresa

BAXI Manresa (Liga Endesa) has agreed terms with 26-year-old American forward Chuba Ohams for the new 2024-25 season. Ohams, who also holds a Nigerian passport, played for Seagulls in the Finnish Korisliiga last season. In 46 games, he averaged 14.5ppg, 10.4rpg (ranking #3 in the league), 1.9apg, and 1.3spg. He helped his team win the cup and reach the league final. Ohams was named to the Eurobasket.com Finnish Korisliiga All-Imports Team, received the League Player of the Week award four times, and made the Eurobasket.com All-Finnish Korisliiga First Team. In the previous 2022-23 season, he played for Denain Voltaire in the French ProB league.
Among many awards, he was also voted the All-Atlantic 10 Most Improved Player of the Year and was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team in 2022 during his college time.
He graduated from Fordham University in 2022 and it'll be his third season as a pro player.
