Tarbes sign Murjanatu Musa

Tarbes Gespe Bigorre (LFB) has signed 24-year-old Nigerian international Murjanatu Musa as their new 187cm center for the upcoming season. She is the second import player on the team, joining Swiss player Nancy Fora. Musa comes from Celta Zorka in the Spanish LF Challenge, where she played for the last three years. In 30 LF Endesa games last season, she averaged 12.6ppg, 9.4rpg (ranking #3 in the league), 1.1apg, and 1.3spg. She had a successful season, earning the title of League Player of the Week three times and being selected for the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Endesa Second Team. Musa has been a regular member of the Nigerian Senior National Team since 2021.
She has played previously in Nigeria (Air Warriors).
She won the Spanish LF Challenge Playoff championship title in 2023. Musa received the Afrobasket.com All-Nigerian League Player of the Year award and was named to the Afrobasket.com Nigerian League All-Tournament Team in 2019.
