Bydgoszcz sign Lauren Ebo

Polskie Przetwory KS Basket 25 Bydgoszcz (OBLK) signed 24-year-old American (who also has a Nigerian passport) 193cm center Lauren Ebo (college: Notre Dame) for the upcoming season. She will be playing alongside fellow American player TaiSheka Porchia. Ebo was the leading scorer at Turgutlu in the Turkish TKBL last season, averaging an impressive 20.3ppg, 14.6rpg (#2 in the league), and 1.7apg in 30 games. She was named League Player of the Week three times and was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TKBL Second Team. Ebo has also been called up to the Nigerian Senior National Team this year.
Among many awards, her team won the ACC Regular Season in 2023. She was voted to the All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2022.
Ebo graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2023, and it will be her second season in pro basketball. She played for other colleges such as The University of Texas and The Pennsylvania State University.
