Celta Zorka inks Blessing Ejiofor

Blessing Ejiofor

Celta Zorka Recalvi Vigo (LF Endesa) signed 25-year old Nigerian international center Blessing Ejiofor (196cm-1998, college: WVU) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. She played last season at Cavigal Nice Basket 06 in the French LF2 league. In 25 games, she had 10.2ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.4apg, and 1.9spg. The 2023-24 season was great as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 Honorable Mention. In the previous (2022-23) season, she played at another French team Cote d'Opale Basket Calais (also in LF2) and for CD Talent (also in LF2). Ejiofor has been regularly called to the Nigerian Senior National Team since 2023.
She played in the final of the Big 12 Tournament in 2021.
Ejiofor graduated from West Virginia University in 2022 and it will be her third season as a professional player. She played for other colleges like Chipola College and Vanderbilt University.
