Perry comes back to Rivers Hoopers, ex Patriots

Defending champion Rivers Royal Hoopers (DStv PBL) have added 29-year-old American forward William Perry (college: Lenoir-Rhyne) to their roster. Perry, who previously played for Rivers Hoopers, recently played for Patriots in the Rwandan RBL league. In 9 games, he averaged 16.2ppg, 6.0rpg, 5.8apg, and 2.1spg last season.
Perry's pro career has allowed him to play on three continents (Europe, Africa, North America) in six countries. He has played professionally in Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Mozambique.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Perry's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America) in six different countries. He has played previously professionally also in Bulgaria (Akademik Plovdiv), Luxembourg (Amicale), Portugal (Ovarense), Spain (Cantabria) and Mozambique (Ferroviario Beira).
His team was the regular season runner-up in the Mozambican League in 2023. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention back in 2021.
He graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 2016 and this is his eighth season in pro basketball.
