USA silenced Nigeria for the second straight win at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament. They posted a comfortable 100-46 win for a 2-0 record in Group A. USA started with a 19-13 run and nailed massive 32 points in the second period. Moreover, the favorites dominated the second half for the final success. Sabrina Ionescu nailed three to close the game as the board showed 100 points for the winners.
Jewell Loyd (178-PG-1993, college: Notre Dame) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Rhyne Howard (188-SF-2000, college: Kentucky) notched 14. Napheesa Collier (191-F-1996, college: UConn) produced 12, whilst Jackie Young (183-PG-1997, college: Notre Dame) had 11. Murjanatu Musa (187-C-2000) answered with 13 points in the losing effort.
