Blaze adds Chidom to their roster

Oderah Chidom

Bay City Blaze added to their roster 28-year old Nigerian-American international power forward Oderah Chidom (6'4''-1995, college: Duke). Chidom played last season at Hainaut in French LFB league. In 25 games she was league's second best scorer with impressive 16.5ppg and had 7.8rpg (#5 in the league), 1.7apg and 1.3spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com French LFB All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (4 times) and Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Second Team.
In 2017 she was drafted by Atlanta Dream (WNBA) in third round (31st overall).
The former Duke University standout is in her seventh season in pro basketball.
She also represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 8.0ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg, FGP-2 (69.2%), 3PT: 16.7%.
Chidom is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Greece (Dafni Agioy) and Slovenia (Celje). Chidom played in the final of ACC Tournament in 2014 and 2017.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Honorable Mention in 2022.
