Kwara Falcons sign Jawed Adekoya, ex Reading R.

Kwara-Falcons (DStv PBL) landed American (has also British passport) 198cm guard Jawad Adekoya (college: Chicago State). Adekoya joins another USA player Michael Kolawole who is already in the roster.
He played recently at Reading Rockets in British NBL D1, but was released by the team in Feb.'23. In four games he averaged impressive 17.8ppg and 4.5rpg last season. The last summer he played at Flight in U.S. semi-pro league TBL where in four games he had very remarkable stats: 18.5ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.3spg.
He has played previously professionally in Canada (Bobcats).
He helped his team to make it to the British BBL Semifinals in 2019.
Adekoya graduated from Chicago State in 2016 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
