Hertzliya lands Atonye Nyingifa

Bnot-Hertzliya (D1) tabbed 32-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) 183cm forward Atonye Nyingifa (college: UCLA), agency: LBM Management. Nyingifa played at Antalya 07 Basketbol in Turkish KBSL, but left the team in Nov.'22 after a few weeks. In four games she averaged impressive 15.8ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg this season.
She also represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 7.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.0apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 34.5%, FT: 50.0%.
And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life on three different continents. Nyingifa is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. She has played previously professionally in Puerto Rico (Atenienses), Spain (Estudiantes and Ensino) and Israel (Elitzur Holon, Hapoel Petah Tikva and Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion). Nyingifa was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LFB Honorable Mention in 2020 and 2021.
Her college team made it to the Israeli Cup final in 2017.
She graduated from University of California at Los Angeles in 2014 and it is her ninth season in pro basketball.
