Elonu leaves Angers

32-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) 185cm power forward Adaora Elonu (college: Texas A&M) left Angers-Union-Feminine-Basket-49 (LFB). But in only one game in France she did not score anything and had only 2 assists.
Elonu also represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 8.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.3apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 36.8%, 3PT: 33.3%.
She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Elonu is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. She has played previously professionally in Israel (Hapoel Galil Elion), Puerto Rico (Atenienses), Russia (Nadezhda), Spain (Avenida, Burgos, Girona and Conquero) and WNBA (Connecticut Sun and Atlanta Dream). Elonu won Spanish LFB championship title in 2017 and 2018 and the cup in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. She was voted to Eurobasket.com Spanish LFB All-Imports Team back in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Elonu graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 and it is her eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. (via @Be_BasketFr)
